Requirements and Skills
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Experience or interest in Medical-Surgical nursing care
- Ability to provide compassionate, team-oriented patient care
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with healthcare teams
- Basic knowledge of patient safety and infection control protocols
- Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and daily living tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff
- Support the medical-surgical nursing team by ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable patient environment
- Assist with patient mobility and positioning to prevent complications
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintain patient hygiene and adhere to infection control standards
- Document patient care and observations accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality care
Qualifications
- Must be a certified and current CNA with proof of certification
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred but not required
- Ability to comply with HIPAA and maintain patient confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Reliable transportation to Hettinger, ND location
Compensation: Hourly rate of $31.00 to $36.00
